bird..where are you???

I introduced him to this wonderful interesting creature called bird and he Caden has been hooked into it ever since.

It started a few days ago when Caden insisted not to sleep twice a day as he used to. His daddy always emphasis that Caden has to sleep A LOT! so that he will grow (upwards) A LOT, too! But well, I was ready for it if sleeping once a day would be enough for him.

But it was not! He would be so cranky afterwards that he could sleep at wierd hours; at 5pm and woke up at 7pm (He used to sleep at 7.30pm until the next morning).

Seems like twice a day would be too much but once a day would be not enough...

So, I have to find a way to make him more tired so that he would sleep longer (for 3 hours) and only once a day -- that equals to messing up his regular schedule to a new one.

Nowadays, I would have to be creative to find activities for this active boy so that he would be tired and hungrier afterwards (yes, meal times has been WORST since we arrived here from Jakarta).

One of them is: bringing him to Orchard Road, to walk on the streets to find birds and feed them, too. (We fed them Bread Talk by the way! hehe...)

But on the second day we went, it was at 7.30pm, all the birds went home already!! I was glad that Caden still had fun running here and there for a while. My plan might be working cos' he was yawning afterwards.

I had to bring him to interesting place such as Orchard will lots of things going on or else, he would not want to walk by himself (he would want me to carry him instead).

So I am thinking his new schedule would be:

  • Woke up at 8am
  • School at 9am
  • Lunch at 11am
  • Nap at 12pm
  • Woke up at 3pm
  • Dinner at 5pm
  • Sleep again at 7.30pm -- until the next morning

*This equals for him to sleep at about 14 hours per day.

Hope this will work!
